I've been away for a week. Here's some things to click:
Simon Woodman posts about a new book of prayers that he and Karen Smith have edited in honour of John Weaver, who retires as Principal of South Wales Baptist College this summer. Another volume for the 2008 Centre of Baptist History and Heritage Series. See also the John Briggs edited collection of papers from the 2008 Baptist Historical Society Conference, including a chapter from Catriona.
Wipf and Stock have reprinted John Colwell's Actuality and Provisionality: Eternity and Election in the Theology of Karl Barth (his PhD thesis completed under Colin Gunton and originally printed through Rutherford House) at a more affordable price.
Douglas Campbell has published a paper on Gal 5.11 in the latest New Testament Studies, which is another article in connection with Paul's biography. On another note, Campbell is London-bound in December.
Markus Bockmuehl has published a paper on 'The Trouble with the Inclusive Jesus' in the latest Horizons in Biblical Theology, which should probably be read by us Baptists.
New books forthcoming from John Webster
