2010 saw
the arrival of Kirsten
the end of ministerial formation at Regent's
and the beginning of ministry in Southend
the completion of my MTh
the opportunity to listen to Richard Bauckham, Sam Wells, Stanley Hauerwas, John Milbank and Luke Bretherton
enjoy watching Up, Inception, Rev, The Good Wife and Mad Men
enjoy reading all the Matthew Shardlake novels by CJ Sansom (there's a new one out now); Hannah's Child by Stanley Hauerwas, The Witness of God by John Flett and Desiring the Kingdom by James K. A. Smith
2011 will see
hopefully the start of a PhD
a move from flat to house
a visit to the limestone pavement at Malham Cove (it featured in both HP7.1 and The Trip)
the publication of my MTh thesis on a Baptist theology of children
the chance to see The Social Network, Black Swan, the end of HP, the return of Rev and Mad Men
the chance to read The Future of Christian Theology by David Ford, the second edition of The Blackwell Companion to Christian Ethics, Steve Holmes on Baptist Theology, Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel, The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
the return to more regular blogging
