News today of the death of Graham Stanton, former professor of New Testament at King's College London (1977-1998) and Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity, Cambridge (1998-2007). He was an expert of the gospels, especially the gospel of Matthew and I think in the last few years had been working on a commentary on Galatians.
PhD (1969 - Cambridge), supervised by C. F. Moule

I am saddened to hear that Prof. Stanton has passed away. Graham was my doctoral supervisor at King's College London. He was both a brilliant NT scholar and a man of faith. I have benefited a lot through his supervision and encouragement.
