This week I'm feeling stretched, I've blogged since last last Monday, because I've not had the space to think.  I am half-way through completing a blog on Gunton's understanding of the doctrine of atonement, which has been good because it's a book I've not read for a few years. I'm interested in reading Alan Mann's new book, Atonement for a Sinless Society. (As far as I can tell Alan wrote most of  The Lost Message of Jesus). Things have hijacked my time, but I hope to find some on Thursday or Friday.

I liked this short post from Maggi: Priests, not the doctrine police: Don't imagine us leaders to be something we aren't. We are servants of Christ, not his masters. We are guides into God's most sublime secrets, not security guards posted to protect them.

I've also enjoyed watching the BBC2 documentary 'The Monastry (see Mark's posts here and here). There's one more next Tuesday 9pm.
