Stuart Murray has written perhaps the best book currently available on the future of the church. Why? Because it is a specifically UK perspective. It is very readable. It is extremely helpful for churches to consider the shape of 'church on the margins.' You can read the first chapter here. All church leaders should read this book.
This is the sequel to Post-Christendom, which describes the history of the church (with an anabaptist slant) and our situation now where Christendom is behind us. Read the first chapter of of this book here.
Murray lectured recently at Spurgeon's College, see Mark Greer's notes.
